Kids in Space! Help! [13 May 2009|12:44pm]

Hi!

Sorry to be a bother but I used to watch this show about kids in space on TVO KIDS in Canada. One of the guys had ears that were like a spiral. I can't think of the name of the show and I was wondering if you guys could help me out!

Thanks a bunch!
Jess

Hi.

I've started a new community called Retro TV. It's a place to discuss all your favourite Canadian, American and International TV programs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and whatever.

Furthermore, you can discuss some of your favourite music, bands, fads, toys, etc. or just your memories of your childhood.

Happy Posting :)

Can someone tell me what this show is called? It's been killing me!

Okay, it's from the early 90s, I think. About three friends who share an apartment, a black guy, a white guy and an Indian girl. They are all really arty, the girl is into music and the either guy is an actor. And they have their cool artist/cultured friends over. And there's a balcony and a train somewhere involved.

Help, anyone?!

Does anyone remember The Write Channel? That's my favorite TVO program. It included a green worm called RB Bugg who would proofread paragraphs for his newscaster friend who worked for the newsstation WORD. I love that show n wish I could see it again!
Other fave's:
Read All About It(Duneedon is scary!)
Today's Special(Muffy the Mouse!)

I went to Humber College for awhile and one of my teachers used to be Polkaroo on Polk-a-Dot-Door.

Does anyone remember a show called Putnam's something Emporium?
Was that Canadian??
It had a talking moose head..and there was something funny about the closet.

and...what else?
oh yea, one of my friends is the lady that made the puppets and did the puppeteering on Underneath The Umbrella Tree.

Those retro enough for ya, tv lovers?

"But whoever created the first season were complete visionaries - pot-smoking geniuses, even. I mean, who, in 1980, would have had the idea of igniting divergent genres like science fiction, mystery, comedy and horror together with such a deliberate pseudo-literary, yet Grade-B movie ambition. And for kids!"
